I recently moved to Utah from S Huntington NY. When in NY, I’d buy at least 3-4 bagels per week at Bagel Biz. I had always heard that once you leave NY you are going to miss the pizza and BAGELS. I didn’t believe it, but being in Utah now 6 months I SO much was missing real NY bagels…Pizza I got a tad lucky and found two pizza places that have borderline OK pizza. Bagels..forget it! Bagels in Utah at best, taste like soft pretzels! In NY, Bagel Biz had the best bagels on LI, NY in my opinion. I was thrilled to find out they ship them wherever you may live. I ordered two dozen/ mixed…and the bagels I received were overall awesome! I was also VERY impressed I had given additional instructions to please send only dark bagels, with lots of seeds. That’s EXACTLY what I received. Being honest, my only tiny negative as yes the bagels were VERY fresh…and vacuum sealed as they say. However not sure if it was just this one time, or that’s just the way it is. I assume they were placed in the bags rather hot…if some steam may escape in the sealed bags I guess that would soften up all the bagels a bit, vs going into the store where they are a bit crunchy outside but very moist inside. That said, I found that using my convection oven on about 325 degrees for 5-6 minutes..brings back the crunchy outside, and the insides of the bagels get 99% as moist as they are when you buy them fresh. Overall I am super pleased.. The taste is GREAT…Now I can have my beautiful mountains, low humidity..lower cost of living BUT still enjoy the best NY bagels from Bagel Biz. I truly will be ordering again once I RUN thru the 2 dozen assorted I bought…5 stars for REAL!!

As “another New Yorker with a second house in Florida” I felt compelled to post this review. When in New York I only buy my bagels from Bagel Biz. They are absolutely THE BEST!!! When I learned that they ship bagels, I had to give it a try! What I received just a few days ago was 4 dozen super fresh bagels that were sealed in sleeves & packaged in a cool box. Once received (in Miami) we spread cream cheese on a few and cut the rest in half for the freezer. Since that day I’ve defrosted at least a dozen & they are as fresh as the day I received them!!!!!!
